Intuitive Automation

The „intuitive automation“ concept of Lenze SE provides a continuous developmment tool with standardized data interfaces for components, modules and machines spanning the complete machine lifecycle.

The goal of the InA framework is to provide the right answers to the important development questions from the early project stages in order to set the course for a successfull implementation. By simplyfing complex content and making the process manageable, Ina supports the application development and leads the way to a virtual and automated commissioning.


Modular Configuration Framework

FORWARDttc developed the InA application in close collaboration with Lenze SE to enable an easy step by step configuration and parametrization of machines and equipment.

The traditional view of a 2D user interface was extended through 3D elements and an intuitive user flow ensures manageability of the process complexity. To guarantee availability on various devices, scalability was considered from the beginning as an integral part of the development. This makes the InA App cross platform capable and compatible with different devices.

Existing webservices of Lenze SE further extend the range of applications and can be integrated into the app to meet customer and application targets.


Holistic Digital Engineering

The InA app guides the user through the configuration of all relevant basic parameters of the machine or equipment. The flexible combination of machine modules and drive solutions allows for the creation of individual and customer specific automation solutions.

Web services support and validate the selection of suitable components and enable the automated generation of machine code for the specified application. All communication interfaces are parametrized dynamically and an optional cloud connection is established. 

A generated digital twin of the real machine completes the process and allows immediate verification of the configuration and all specified parameters. In addition to the 3D view of the digital twin inside the InA app, an augmented reality visualization can be generated and viewed at the site of operation for real world validation of the solution.
